… wild-fermented, then matured in new and used French oak. It is deeply coloured, and certainly supports the general background gleaned from the back label; it has abundant black fruits, together with touches of licorice, the French oak in centre stage at the moment; the depth of the fruit, and its ripe tannins, gives cause for hope that the oak will politely move off to the side of the stage.
