Dylan Shearsby

Dylan Shearsby is a Melbourne based artist working professionally as a storyboard artist and illustrator. He has worked on a major motion picture, television series, documentary and with many major advertising agencies.

Strongly influenced by artists such as Andrew Wyeth, Turner and Brabazon, Dylan also paints watercolours and oils.

Dylan's fine art is focused primarily on realist landscapes and figures in watercolour medium.

The illustration "Balloon over Winery" featured on the 2011 Deonte ‘No. 320’ Yarra Valley Shiraz wine label is a cartoon sketch of a typical scene in the Yarra Valley where Dylan spends a significant amount of time.

The image was influenced by the many bright colours and Mediterranean landscapes portrayed in Hayao Miyazaki's animated classic "PorcoRosso".

Below, please find an exhibition of some of Dylan’s fine art.
